   The children´s ethnographic ensemble Kordulka ("a special vest that is part of a folk costume") was established in September 1996. It is connected with the traditions of the village, in particular with the Children´s feast in folk costumes and the singer´s competition "For the gingerbread heart of Poddvorov". The ensemble joins together children from 6 to 12 years old and it deals with the folklore of the Podluží region. The most important regular event of the ensemble is a meeting of children´s ethnographic ensembles that is held every year in June.

 

   The traditional feast of Starý Poddvorov is celebrated every first Sunday in August.
